While Greenblade may not be the largest supplier of sod in the region, the company definitely produces some of the very finest on its 350 pristine acres. While one may think all grass is created equally, there are glaring differences in what is offered by other sod companies. This difference is evident in the meticulous approach Greenblade takes in growing, harvesting and transporting premium grass that’s prime for installation. And rest assured, you will always receive unsurpassed service and helpful knowledge to match the quality of our sod.
Meet the Team
Tara and Michael Hart
Michael Hart was destined to start his own grass business, but with a slight difference. He wanted to farm sod. So, that’s exactly what he did....
After a four year stint in the US Navy, Michael returned home and “got down to business.” He worked countless hours and researched how to grow the best grass for this area; grass that he could take pride in and to ensure all of his customers would have a healthy, beautiful yard.
Along the way, he met his wife,Tara and they were married in 2006. Tara soon became an integral part of Michael’s business, working in the office, taking orders and doing all accounting. Eight years later, they welcomed twin boys, Layne and Camden. Michael and Tara hope they will one day take over the business with the same passion that they, themselves have possessed.
Greenblade has grown exponentially throughout the last 20 years, but one thing remains the same: the drive to grow and distribute the healthiest and best grass on the market. We sincerely pride ourselves on our work ethic and honesty with all of our customers. We appreciate EVERY customer, whether it be commercial or residential, and we can’t wait to serve you in the near future!
Cindy Keith
Cindy came to us at Greenblade at the beginning of 2015. Her friendly voice is what you will hear whenever you call our office to schedule a delivery or pick up of sod. Cindy is knowledgeable on all varieties of sod and is helpful to all of our customers that need assistance. She also is the glue that keeps our office together and we refer to her as our “Room Mom.” Cindy is such a valued member of our team, and Greenblade couldn’t run without her!
